You can partner your company with a national charity which is offering young people a chance to leave homelessness behind forever.
We have lots of opportunities to offer – from making Centrepoint your charity of the year, to getting involved at Sleep Out, or taking on a challenge with your colleagues.
We partner with companies who want to deliver real change for homeless young people. We want all our partnerships to be rewarding, engaging and mutually beneficial.
All Corporate Partnerships with Centrepoint are completely bespoke. We know there is no one size fits all approach and we partner with companies of varying industry and discipline in a variety of different ways. Read on to learn more about how your business can partner with Centrepoint and help give homeless young people a future.
Does your company have a Charity of The Year program? Often corporate organisations will nominate a selected charity to support for a period of time. We currently work with a number of Charity of the Year partners, ensuring that we engage employees with exciting and innovative fundraising ideas, as well as bringing them closer to the cause through impactful volunteering and cause led activities. Often these opportunities are staff led, so we’d love a nomination next time your company starts their process!
Can your organisation help us fulfil our strategic objectives by funding vital programmes which support positive outcomes for homeless young people? Long term strategic partnerships with Centrepoint are focused on solving a particular issue, ensuring your company has a considerable impact on the lives of the young people we support and allow you to share your skills and insight with us to improve and expand our service delivery.
We have a history of collaborating with exciting brands on CRM (Cause related marketing) campaigns, where a proportion of each sale/ agreed set amount is donated to Centrepoint for a particular product. CRM campaigns are an effective way to boost your own sales by being attached to the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity and also generate vital awareness for our work. A CRM will give your customers the opportunity to purchase your product and support homeless young people at the same time.
We have a calendar of prestigious and exciting events, such as our award nominated flagship fundraiser Sleep Out, our bi-annual Gala event, and annual Centrepoint Awards where we recognise the outstanding achievements of homeless young people. Each event has a variety of sponsorship opportunities available. We’re here to help you achieve your own marketing objectives, and sponsoring an event or one of our programs can be a great way to not only increase your reach, but benefit from the positive brand exposure linked with supporting Centrepoint.
Since launching in April 2017, our partnership with The Co-operative Bank has now raised an amazing £1 million for Centrepoint. Thanks to their incredible support, we’ve been able to open a Manchester branch of the Centrepoint Helpline – which offers local support for young people experiencing homelessness.
Other highlights include their sponsorship of the Centrepoint Awards to celebrate the achievements of our young people and 170 Co-operative Bank colleagues taking part in Sleep Out Manchester to raise £66,700 for our work.
Asos Foundation support mental health programmes in Barnsley and London and have helped us to develop The Centrepoint Helpline. They've even invited our young people to take part in a photo shoot.
Grand Central Rail support us as an official travel partner – donating two travel passes per year to help connect our colleagues and offices. This saves our organisation over £15,000 a year. They also help to subsidise our young people’s travel so they can access opportunities across the country.
Selfridges has partnered with Centrepoint for over five years. Each year they’ve joined us at Sleep Out, donated and wrapped presents for young people at Christmas; and their Donate As You Dine campaign has raised over £200,000 – just a few of the amazing ways they have supported us!
“Howard Kennedy has been proud to support Centrepoint and the work they do to support young people in finding a safe space to call home. Centrepoint has been great at providing us with ideas and support for our fundraising, as well as putting on their own fantastic fundraising events such as the Sleep Out and the Ultimate Pub Quiz. We worked closely with Centrepoint to create a bespoke volunteer day for our employees and the team at Centrepoint are always willing to help and to come into the offices and talk about the positive impact our fundraising efforts have had.”
“A key part of our decision to work with Centrepoint was to develop a two way partnership where we could share our expertise in real estate, but also to understand the causes of youth homelessness. Since we started the relationship we have held two community days that have involved over 90% of available staff. In addition, we have been able to engage our supply chain to help in the provision of work experience for young people – a key part of developing confidence to gain enough experience for interviews and jobs. The Centrepoint team have made themselves available to support us in a wide range of activities from Hackathon’s, Ultimate Pub Quiz, Sleep Out, Blagathon’s and access to a wide range of sponsored events such as the London Landmarks Half Marathon.
We value our relationship with Centrepoint to such a large extent that this year we decided to extend our three year relationship by another year to 2022. In so doing we expect to allow our staff to develop a deeper issue surrounding the causes of youth homelessness and provide Centrepoint with greater access to our supply chain. “
“TOMS vision of a better tomorrow is one where humanity thrives, and Centrepoint works towards that mission every day in their efforts to end youth homelessness. TOMS proudly supports the expansion of Centrepoint’s engagement model in Manchester which aims to increase young people’s participation in learning and training programs and participate in the organization’s annual Sleep Out. We’re inspired by the work of Centrepoint and we look forward to finding more ways to support the team and their efforts.”
As we said, no two Centrepoint partnerships are the same and each relationship is designed on a bespoke basis. Taking into account your brand values and company CSR aspirations, the Corporate Partnerships team at Centrepoint are creative, ambitious and pride ourselves on long term partnerships.
